Stereotypy I : A review of behavioral assessment and treatment

Abstract: Gli autori hanno condotto uno studio bibliografico sul significato del termine stereotipia, sulla sua interpretazione comportamentale, sulle procedure per determinare le funzioni operanti della stereotipia e sull'intervento comportamentale. La maggioranza degli interventi in letteratura evidenziano il mantenimento del rinforzamento automatico della stereotipia, mentre l'intervento che prende in considerazione l'antecedente o il conseguente mostra risultati limitati a breve tempo.
