Hearing loss in early infancy affects maturation of the autidory pathway

Abstract: Si è voluto individuare l'influenza della perdita uditiva cocleare nella maturazione delle abilità uditive attraverso l'analisi degli evocati uditivi. Parrebbe che lo sviluppo cerebrale sia sensibile alla deprivazione uditiva e che l'ambiente acustico attorno al bambino svolge un ruolo determinante nella prima infanzia per lo sviluppo uditivo e per il linguaggio.
