Abstract: Il ricorso ad un intervento contingente combinato di rinforzamento positivo e negativo ha permesso di ridurre la ruminazione in un giovane ventenne cieco con ritardo mentale seguito in un centro riabilitativo. L'articolo ripercorre la modalità seguite e presenta i risultati ottenuti con la riduzione del 95,4% degli episodi.
