Abstract: L'intervento psicofarmacologico è stato per molto tempo il trattamento più comune nella terapia dei bambini iperattivi. Da quando la scuola ha attivato trattamenti pedagogici, il ricorso al farmaco è andato via via diminuendo. Gli autori presentano due ricerche seguite in situazioni didattiche in assenza di terapia farmacologica mettendo in evidenza il ruolo di controllo dell'ambiente sociale come valida alternativa terapeutica.
